Some people mentioned the road, the roadworks whilst we were there made it easy to cross over as traffic was down to one lane each way. The beach opposite the hotel is beautiful it was a bit sea weeded when we were there. We had no issues during our stay, enjoyed a couple of trips into key west itself.

The pool area had some lovely shaded areas with sofas which was great for those in our party who don't want to sit in full sun.
Pool area was lovely and a fun space, but not large, I can imagine it would be very busy during the peak season, we liked the large iguanas who casually walked around the pool area. Staff at the pool and bar were very nice. At check in on Friday 18th August the staff were functional but not friendly. The restaurant on site has a limited lunch and dinner menu and a very good breakfast. However there are no plates or cutlery supplied. The room has a coffee machine, microwave and fridge, which is a decent size. Like most hotels I have stayed in this one is in need of towel rails or hooks for the wet towels. There is also limited space for suitcases if 4 people are travelling. The room has a breakfast bar but only 2 stools which is not enough. Very good to have the bus service into town (one of the reasons we stayed here) We stayed in a twin bed suite with sofa bed, as a family of 4, the room was nicely furnished, the main beds were comfortable, sofa bed was very firm.
